Fr. David Hasser is the Director of the Office for Vocations for the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana. He was born and raised around Lafayette, IN, and he studied in Rome, Philadelphia, PA and Emmitsburg, MD in preparation for his ordination to the Priesthood in 2007. His first four years of priesthood were spent as an associate pastor in Kokomo, IN for two parishes, a grade school and a monastery of Poor Clare nuns. He currently is in residence at Ball State University in Muncie, IN. The most significant influences for discerning his vocation were the example and love of his family, the presence and engagement of his parish priests, the opportunity to spend time in Eucharistic Adoration and the experience of two years living in Rome during the Great Jubilee 2000.
