Fr. Chris Lemieux has been a priest of the Archdiocese of Toronto, Canada since May of 2012. He has lived in the archdiocese his whole life and became a Catholic in 2003 at the age of 32. Fr. Lemieux held many exciting jobs, in management at a video store, as an armed guard and for several years a city bus driver before entering the seminary. Fr. Lemieux began his formation at Serra House, a house of discernment in Toronto in 2005 and entered St. Augustine’s Seminary in 2006. After his ordination, Fr. Lemieux served at St. Patrick’s Parish in Markham, Ontario, a very large suburban parish where he worked closely with the many youth ministries within the parish. In January 2014, he was appointed Assistant Director of Vocations and then Director of Vocations in July of 2014. Fr. Lemieux heads up a vibrant vocation ministry including an active Archdiocesan Vocations Council with nine priests who assist part-time in vocation work.
