Deacon Harold-Burke-Sivers was our guest on Vocation Boom! Radio in celebration of the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the beginning of the Jubilee Year of Mercy and our Advent preparation. Deacon Harold discussed his vocation journey, “a tug on his heart to the priesthood” that would later lead to the Benedictine Monastery and the University of Notre Dame where he discerned his call to marriage.

Deacon Harold says just as God used St. Juan Diego to do His will through Our Lady of Guadalupe, “discerners should know that they too are worthy.”

Deacon’s new book, Behold the Man: A Catholic Vision of Male Spirituality, details the importance of the clergy and laity to guide another through their vocational discernment. He encourages that  “A Catholic man (should be) living an authentic male spirituality…”
